Over/Under

Also called: Totals, Lines

A bet on whether a countable total — goals, points, cards, games — finishes above or below a line, rather than on who wins.

Lines are usually set at a half unit so the bet cannot end level; a whole-number line can finish exactly on the line, which is a "push" and normally means the stake is returned.
